Fiasco Cru

I was born and raised in New Mexico, but have managed to spend most of my career selling New Mexican wines in West Texas. This experience has trained me in wines of Mexico and in Mezcal, Sotol and other products from this amazing country.

I cut my teeth in Marfa, TX where customers would ask for “interesting reds from Portugal” instead of the wines typically featured in the books of larger distribution companies.

Wanting to avoid overstatement or heresy… I find a type of communion when I taste wines from France, Mexico or Italy that taste of the soil and place they dome from…especially when I am sharing them with friends. This communes me with my friends, and with the soil of countries that I have never been to.

That is the magic of wine…
